Co-owner and head instructor at Pole Vault City. Bobby set the Florida 3A state record in 1987 at 15’5″, a record that stood for 11 years.  Coach Haeck had a personal best of 16′ in high school before injuring his right knee.  Bobby went on to graduate from Florida State University, where he competed for the Seminoles in 1991 and 1992.  Since then, Coach Haeck has been instructing pole vaulters from around the state of Florida and around the country.

Marcy Haeck

Co-owner of Pole Vault City.  Marcy and Bobby were married at the 2006 Pole Vault Summit in Reno at the Reno Wedding Chapel.  Marcy was a collegiate volleyball player at Coker College in South Carolina and currently competes in figure competitions.

Dave Cook

Coach Cook has been involved in pole vaulting for many years dating back to his days as a collegiate vaulter at Arkansas State University.  By the way, Coach Cook was teammates with the great Earl Bell and pole vault phenom Coleman Crews.  Coach Cook had a personal best of 16’6″ while at ASU.  Dave also has two daughters, Emily and Stephanie, that are both excellent vaulters as well. Dave coached John Kennedy to the 4A state title in 2009 with a PR of 15′.
